The Terry O'Brien Golf Academy is thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our golfing family, the Barrie Golf Academy, set to open its doors in November 2023. As a premiere golf instruction facility, we are dedicated to providing golfers of all ages with the tools they need to excel in the game they love. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology, including the Trackman golf swing analysis program, ensuring that every swing you take is backed by cutting-edge insights and expertise.
At the heart of our commitment is the Barrie Golf Academy's mission to be a place where golfers can LEARN, PRACTICE & PLAY. Under the experienced guidance of Terry O'Brien, who boasts 15 years of experience in the golf industry, we offer a wide range of golf programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of golfers at every level. Terry, a distinguished PGA of Canada Professional, has not only excelled in his own golfing career with multiple tournament wins and top finishes but also actively contributes to the growth of the sport in the community.
The Terry O’Brien Golf Academy and BGA provide a variety of options for golfers to engage with our programs, including hourly packages, private lessons, clinics, and camps. We are particularly excited to announce registrations for our 2024 junior golf camp after the holiday season, designed for Novice and Beginner Junior Golfers aged 6-14. With a student-to-instructor ratio of 8:1, our camp is poised to create an ideal environment for young golfers to develop their skills while also nurturing values such as sportsmanship, friendships, and honesty.
What truly sets us apart is our dedication to supporting the local golfing community. Terry's involvement on the board of the Junior Golf Pathway for Golf Ontario and his ownership of the Simcoe County Junior Golf Tour highlight our commitment to nurturing young talent and growing the sport at the grassroots level.
